WANTED: Powerlifting In Athens-Xalandri

Hello users of Bodybilders.gr!

I am looking for a place where i can do powerlifting in Athens-Xalandri

a little about me:

Im half greek half danish and i live in Copenhagen where i do powerlifting. Every summer i visit my giagia and papou ind Athens-Xalandri and last summer i worked out in Colloseum (think it is called that).
The standard of the center was fine for that time but im looking for a place where i can do some heavy dead lifting and squat.

I would like the center to have eleiko equipment, ivanko or other powerlifting/weight lifting brands.

Hope you can help, and that i have found the correct forum (or else admin move the thread if you like : One_thumb: )

Bad news... There is no such thing as powerlifting in Athens..
You can visit "Hercules" though in Νεα Ερυθραια where you`ll find Ivanko and be free to train as you wish. Or
you can take a trip to Patra and find Ivanko, Eleiko, Hammerstrength, Hoist, Iron grip to "Physique"

Τωρα φανταζομαι θα καταλαβαινεις και ελληνικα, αλλα τι τα πηραμε τα πτυχια...;

what about weightlifting ? i remember years ago a gold medal in the olympics?

wisit one of the crossfit gyms in Athens, i think you will find what you need there

i know bench is low that is my weekness. i have been working on technic. it sucks big time.

training history:
boxing, krav maga, and so on.
lfiting weights 2011- only powerlifting since january this year

δεν δοκιμασα μαξ ακομα...αλλα μεχρι στιγμης η μονες μου ειναι οι εξης :

but why do you want to go a class weightclass down ? get some weight become stronger and compete in 93? :)

ειμαι μεταξυ 2 κατηγοριων...93- και 83-...μου αφησε το ελευθερο ο coach να παω σε οποια απο τις 2...επειδει μαλλον παω για τον πρωτο μου αγωνα...και στις 2 περιπου το ιδιο ανταγωνιστικος θα ειμαι στο overall...αλλα στην 83- με 210-220 dl...μπορει να τα παω καλα στην γενικη καταταξη....και μιλαω μονο στο dl....οποτε αποφασησα να πεσω...αν συνεχισω του χρονου μαλλον θα με ανεβασει κατηγορια και θα μπω στα κιλα που αυτος θελει...

στοχος μου ειναι να πεσω 83 και στα σημεια να παω sq 170 bp115 dl 210...νουμερα που μαλλον τα εχω τωρα...ειναι δυσκολο να πεσω και να μεινω σε δυναμη αλλα οχι ακατορθωτο...οποτε θα το επειχηρησω
